The Goose IFTA Calculator

Terms and conditions

Effective November 4, 2026.

The agreement

These terms are between you and War Zone G International Holdings Group LLC ("we") and cover your use of The Goose IFTA Calculator ("Goose"). By creating an account or using Goose you agree to them.

If you downloaded Goose from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it.

Who can use Goose

You must be 18 or older to use Goose, and you must use it for the records of a commercial motor carrier operation, whether your own or one you work for.

What Goose does, and what it does not

Goose helps you keep fuel and mileage records and prepares a quarterly IFTA return from them. It does not file your return, and it does not hold or use your tax account login.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for checking the prepared return, and for filing it and paying any tax on time with your base jurisdiction.

Goose is not legal, tax or accounting advice. Answers from Ask and Contact us are general information and can be wrong. What Claude reads from a receipt, a rate confirmation or an ELD report can be wrong too, so check every figure it reads before you rely on it. Your base jurisdiction's IFTA rules govern.

Goose is software, not a tax preparer. It never files a return, never holds a state login and never moves tax money. Goose is not affiliated with IFTA, Inc. or any state or province.

Figures, rates and estimates

Goose calculates tax only from the rate matrix published for that quarter and shows no tax figure for a quarter whose matrix it does not have. Routed miles follow a truck route between the places you enter and are labelled reconstructed; estimated routes are labelled estimated. These are aids to your records, not a substitute for them.

We work to keep rates and calculations correct, but we do not guarantee them. Check the return before you file.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@gooseifta.com if you think someone else has used it.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, or at gooseifta.com/delete-account.html. Deleting your account does not cancel Goose Pro: cancel the plan in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first.

Paid plans

Goose is free to record your quarter: your miles, your receipt photos, the map, your quarter totals, reminders and saved lanes, and you can always see and download your own records. Goose Pro adds the miles and gallons by state, the return, your state's own forms, File with your state, every prepared export, routing, receipt reading without a monthly limit, Ask, and no sponsored cards.

Pro is sold as a plan that renews every month, every three months or every year. Extra trucks are added by the year. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and are charged by Apple or Google to the account you buy with.

A quarter's return, forms and exports open when your annual or quarterly plan is paid on that quarter's due date (the last day of the month after the quarter), or when you had Pro every day of the quarter and still have it on the due date. A quarterly plan bought in any month of a quarter covers that quarter's return.

Goose Pro comes with a 30 day free trial for new subscribers, one per person; the App Store and Google Play decide who qualifies. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price of the plan you chose unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the trial. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. During the trial the return, forms and filing stay locked until the plan is paid.

On iPhone and iPad, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of your plan. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase.

On Android, payment is charged to your Google Play account. The subscription renews automatically, and you are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel it in Subscriptions in Google Play. When you cancel, you can still use Goose Pro for the time you have already paid. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.

Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Acceptable use

Do not use Goose to prepare a return you know to be false, to access another person's records, or to interfere with the service.

Your data

Your records are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Goose for you, as the privacy policy describes.

Goose itself

Goose, its name, Roger and its software belong to War Zone G International Holdings Group LLC. You may use the app on your own devices for your own operation, and you may not copy, resell or take it apart.

Other companies

Sponsored cards and File with your state open other companies' and states' websites. Their own terms apply there, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to Goose

We may change or stop a feature. If we raise a price, we tell you in the app before your plan renews at the new price.

Liability

Goose is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, and penalties, interest or tax arising from a return prepared with Goose, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability to you for any cause is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or one hundred dollars. Some state laws do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits a right that the law does not let us limit.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Goose and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account used against these terms, and will tell you why.

Deleting your account deletes your records as the privacy policy describes. Download them first if you need them for the four years IFTA asks.

Disputes

Before either of us starts an arbitration or a court case about a dispute, we both first try to settle it informally for at least 30 days. Those 30 days begin when one of us sends the other written notice of the dispute: you by email to support@gooseifta.com, and we by email to the address of your account or, if you have none, to the address you use to contact us.

Either of us may take a claim that small claims court can hear to that court, in the county where you live or in St. Johns County, Florida.

Any other claim between you and us about Goose or these terms is decided by binding arbitration before one arbitrator, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules or, where they apply, its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and not by a judge or jury. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

Claims are brought by you or by us alone. Neither of us may bring or join a claim as part of a class, a group or a representative action, and an arbitrator may not combine the claims of different people or award relief to anyone but the person who brought the claim. If the two sentences before this one cannot be enforced for a claim, that claim is decided in court and not in arbitration.

If you do not want to arbitrate disputes with us, you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending an email to support@gooseifta.com within 30 days of the day you first use Goose. Include the email address of your account if you have one. Opting out changes nothing else in these terms.

A claim that is not decided in small claims court or in arbitration is decided in the state or federal courts for St. Johns County, Florida, and we both agree to those courts.

Changes and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. These terms and your use of Goose are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the privacy policy and, for a copy downloaded from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement are the whole agreement between us. Notices to us go to support@gooseifta.com.

This version took effect on November 4, 2026. Earlier versions are kept, and we send one on request.
